Meet Sara
I am a trauma-informed, EMDR and Brainspotting-trained therapist who works with adults and couples navigating experiences of acute trauma, complex relational trauma, and narcissistic abuse recovery. My approach is warm, compassionate, and collaborative, with a deep respect for the ways our experiences shape the mind, body, emotions, relationships, and sense of self.
In therapy, I create a space where you can explore your experiences with curiosity rather than judgment and begin to better understand the patterns, emotions, and protective responses that may have developed along the way. I consider it a gift to walk alongside clients and witness as they process what has happened, reduce emotional distress, and rebuild a sense of safety and self-trust.
Outside of the therapy room, you can find me caring for my three young children, trying my hand at a crafty project, and exploring our beautiful state.
What you can expect when we work together:
A collaborative relationship.
You won't be told what you should feel or what your healing should look like.
A trauma-informed pace.
We won't rush into difficult material before you're ready.
Curiosity instead of judgment.
We'll explore your thoughts, emotions, reactions, and patterns with compassion, viewing them as ways you have protected yourself.
A focus on the whole person.
Your experiences don't exist in isolation. We'll consider how your history, relationships, body, emotions, and sense of self intersect.
